LG.Philips LCD to commence mass production at 7G plant

LG Philips has annouced that production has begun at its .  Production at P7 will start initially at 45,000 glass sheets per month and reach 90,000 per month by Q1 2007.  The company's 1950×2250mm glass substrates can produce either six 47" panels or eight 42" panels.
