E-commerce software developer Znode hires a chief operating officer

E-commerce software developer Znode Inc. has hired Jeff Haskett as chief operating officer.

Haskett most recently was general manager of the application management group at automotive finance company BMW Group Financial Services. He originally joined that company to launch the e-commerce capabilities for BMW Bank, a subsidiary. Haskett previously worked at consulting firm Accenture in technology consulting, business process engineering and enterprise software implementation.

"We are very pleased to have someone of Jeff`s caliber and experience joining the company," says Vish Vishwanathan, CEO of Znode. "We are looking forward to him playing an integral part in our aggressive growth strategy".

Znode recently received a $1.2 million loan from the Ohio Department of Development to help fund a $1.6 million project that is expected to create 40 jobs and retain four others.

Founded in 2003, Znode says it has 250 customers in seven countries.
