DbxSda 4.25 supports SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5

has announced the 4.25 release of its dbExpress driver for SQL Server (DbxSda 4.25), which introduces support for SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5, and is tested with SQL Server 2008 CTP 4.

DbxSda 4.25 is a database-independent layer that defines a common interface to provide fast access to SQL database servers.

For each supported server, Core Lab provides a driver as an independent library that implements the common dbExpress interfaces for processing queries and stored procedures.

As the data-access layer is thin and simple, Core Lab DbxSda 4.25 provides high performance database connectivity and is easy to deploy.

The drivers are available for Windows as dynamic-link libraries. When you deploy a database application that uses DbxSda 4.25, you need only include a dll with the application files you build.

Lightweight database drivers are available for access to Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, InterBase, Firebird databases.

The DbxSda 4.25 drivers can be used in the same way as the standard dbExpress drivers supplied by Borland.
