VintaSoftTwain.NET Library v.3.1 is released

The VintaSoftTwain.NET library, now at version 3.1 from , controls the work of flatbed and handheld scanners, web and digital cameras and any other TWAIN devices from .NET environment.

The library can be used on any programming languages that are compatible with .NET technology.

VintaSoftTwain.NET Library was tested and has examples of use for:

New features in this version include:

• Acquisition algorithm optimized for compatibility with HP and Fujitsu scanners
• Opportunity to use any authentication schemes (such as basic, digest, NTLM, and Kerberos authentication) at image uploading
• Redirection functionality added to image uploading algorithm

The library is compatible with TWAIN specification 1.9, and supports Native, Buffered Memory and Disk File image transfer modes.

Its image processing functionalities include despeckle, deskew, border detection, rotation, and blank page detection. It can save acquired images as BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF or TIFF files.

It can store acquired images directly into SQL database. and upload images onto HTTP, HTTPS or FTP server.
