Rack-Soft announces 4PSA VoipNow 1.6.2

, the specialized developer and integrator of server and data center software, has announced 4PSA VoipNow 1.6.2, the hosted IP PBX server software solution for service providers, call centers, and enterprises.

This newest version introduces important features designed to improve user's interaction and system connectivity, like CallNow Center, PBX Call API, "no kernel modules" architecture, and backup restore functions.

The new tools allow 4PSA VoipNow users to be contacted from the Internet while fully controlling the caller's session.

VoipNow customers can post a link on their web site or include it in their email signatures to allow others to get in touch with them.

CallNow Center was designed for people who often interact with customers, like sales, marketing professionals and support staff.

As part of the company's commitment to green computing, great effort was invested to simplify VoipNow deployments in service provider environments, removing kernel level dependencies and modifying the product to run only in userspace.

Companies using VoipNow on dedicated servers no longer have to compile additional kernel modules after each Linux kernel update.

VoipNow comes in two editions: The Express edition is free for community but limited to 10 phone extensions, while the Professional edition comes with advanced features, high availability, more extensions, and free technical support.
