Organisers of the AVIEN/AVIEWS virtualconference issue call for papers.The organisers of the inaugural AVIEN/AVIEWS virtualconference have issued a call for papers. The conference,which will take place on 18 January 2006 by webcast, willbe based on the theme ‘Battling malware – a view from thetrenches’. The organisers are seeking submissions for30-minute presentations on a range of subjects (a full listcan be found at ).Abstracts should be sent in RTF or plain text format to by 10 October 2005.While the conference will be open only to members of theAVIEN/AVIEWS forums, members may sponsornon-members, who will be vetted for approval. Registrationdetails will be circulated in the forums and on the website indue course.
